N6844J benefits from extensive maintenance records, regular inspections, and documented upgrades throughout its service life. A 100-hour inspection was completed in February 2026 with strong compressions, a clean oil-filter inspection, and no leaks or operational discrepancies noted during the engine run. Recent maintenance includes landing-gear and brake servicing, new oil-cooler hoses, spark plugs, muffler replacement, corrosion-prevention treatment, and a new headliner. Next annual inspection is due February 2027.

Interior

The four-place cabin is finished in gray patterned cloth with coordinating gray vinyl side panels and trim. Individual front seats provide a practical cockpit arrangement, while the full-width rear bench accommodates two passengers. The cabin also features a spacious aft baggage compartment with convenient external access.

A new headliner was fabricated and installed in November 2024, improving the overall cabin presentation. The remaining interior appears largely original and serviceable, with normal age-related wear, including localized fabric damage on the pilot seat and cosmetic wear to several trim surfaces. Overall, the cabin is functional, offering a solid foundation for continued use or future refurbishment.

Exterior

The aircraft is finished in classic white with light blue and navy accent striping, coordinated tail graphics, and wheel fairings. The exterior presents well overall and retains a traditional Piper Warrior appearance with normal age-related wear. CorrosionX treatment applied to the airframe in 2023.

This exterior presents exceptionally well for its age. The aircraft was hangared for most of its life, and its condition reflects that care. It is currently ramp-stored with both a windscreen cover and wing covers for added protection.
